Celebrate CADW’s 2013 Champions

What a year 2013 has been.  With the third special session now behind us, and election season beginning, it’s time to keep our word to continue standing with Texas women and  show Republicans that we will fight their outrageous and calculated assault on women’s health and dignity all the way to the polls next November.

CADW works hard each cycle to elect more Democrats to all political offices who are committed to meaningful, positive change for Texas women and families and who hold steadfastly to Democratic values.  But we need the support of like-minded women and men in order to succeed.

We hope you will join us in support of CADW’s critical mission by sponsoring the 2013 Celebration of Champions reception. This year, CADW proudly honors three women from our community who exemplify the best qualities of Texas Democrats – tremendous commitment, generosity, and passion.

Yvonne Massey Davis        Laura Kolstad       Mary Patrick

Yvonne, Laura, and Mary have volunteered on countless campaigns, taken on leadership roles in the fight for progressive values, and given their time and talent over and over again to help change the face of power in Texas.

Please consider helping us honor these outstanding women and our shared values by sponsoring the 2013 Celebration of Champions.

CADW is proud to have contributed over $100,000 to local candidates over the past decade. This election cycle has enormous potential to be a historic one, with the possibility of Senator Wendy Davis at the top of the ticket and the national attention and excitement that she has already generated. Texas is on the national radar and well-funded, talented organizers are ready to launch unprecedented turnout operations statewide.  Their efforts are a tremendous help to Democrats in down-ballot races, which are great opportunities to put smart, talented women into office and use CADW’s resources most effectively.

Your sponsorship will help us ensure that we have the resources to strategically help promising candidates get elected and our current Democratic leaders to hold their office. If you have any questions about the event or sponsorships, please contact Emily Williams at 817.262.3261, or emilycwill@gmail.com.
