Join CADW for our upcoming meeting on May 14th at 11:45 am at Joe’s Crab Shack.
We will be discussing criminal justice reform with Dr. Ana Yáñez-Correa, the Executive Director of the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition. TCJC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing smart justice policies that safely reduce Texas’ costly over-reliance on incarceration. Their efforts have been crucial in advancing and passing over 150 smart-on-crime bills related to youth justice, indigent defense, sentencing, probation, parole, and reentry. Dr. Yáñez-Correa has successfully fostered relationships among a wide range of coalition partners, criminal justice practitioners, law enforcement groups, civil rights organizations, and other community members.

In further efforts to streamline the check in process at lunch, we have made the following changes:
1. Attendees will be asked to write in your name with blank name tags provided instead of trying to print out tags in advance.
2. We will have specific lines for members and non-members to check-in, pay for lunch and renew or become members. So please watch for signs to indicate where to check-in.
