May 17th – Campaign 101 Training for Austin City Council Candidates & Campaigns: TCDP will be hold a special campaign 101 training for City Council candidates and staff Saturday, May 17th at the Coordinated Campaign headquarters. If you are a Democrat that has expressed an interest in running for City Council, are actively running, or have indicated that you want to work on a City Council race – you are invited. Click here for the details!

May 17th – Battleground & TCDP Big Coordinated Block Walk at the Coordinated Campaign HQ 1910 E MLK Blvd with shifts starting at 12noon, 2PM and 3PM.

May 17-24, 2014 – “Citizens at Last” at the Texas State Capitol, Ground Floor Rotunda: Citizens at Last Suffrage Movement in Texas, presented by Humanities Texas, focuses on the twenty-seven year campaign for woman suffrage in Texas with panel topics covering the national beginning of the movement, early Texas leaders, anti-suffrage sentiments, efforts to amend the Texas Constitution, primary suffrage, and, finally the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment in 1920.
